Equinox Fitness Plan
Launced: April 2013
Framework: MVC
CMS: Custom
Notable Tech: SASS / Javascript / CSS3 / HTML5 / HTML5 Boilerplate / Media queries
As the sole front-end resource, I developed static templates, which were made dynamic by our back-end developer using Knockout.js. Working around his code allowed me the opportunity to understand and become familiar with Knockout.js for the first time. The site is 100% responsive (we were not provided with mobile designs so I used my best judgement for breakpoints and appearance) and it was mobile tested to ensure quick load time.

I created templates for multiple sub sites, including the main site, and utilized Kentico controls for dynamic content areas. As the lead front-end developer, I organized the entire front-end development plan for the site, including architecting the CMS environment, laying out the site structure, and creating base code standards. I led a team of four front-end developers, managing and allocating their tasks, and providing QA assistance when tasks were ready.
As part of a large team as a whole, I worked closely with the other team leads and the project manager to ensure progress was being made as the deadline approached. We worked in an insanely tight time frame, ultimately launching the site in less than 1 and a half months.
